======================================================

1.  What programs do you use and where can I get them?

    I use mainly 3D Studio Max , Infini D, Ray Dream Studio, and Poser for 3D rendering, modeling, and animating; Bryce 3D to  generate natural environments; CorelDraw/Photopaint for compositing, creating textures, and final editing (post production); and Microsoft Gif Animator to compose animated Gifs.  The only program that is free to download is the Microsoft Gif Animator 1.0, you can download it or other similar Gif editing programs at HotFiles.  For starters, who are interested in making 3D images, I'd recommend Ray Dream Studio.... and no, Metacreations does not pay me to say this ;)>

2.  How long does it take to create a typical 3D image?

    It depends, recreating pre-existed concepts such as Starwar, Babylon 5, or Startrek contents does not require you to wrestle your brains much, however, developing an original concept would take a lot of thinking, thus, time.  Usually, I have to play around with the project for a day or two before anyone can recognize what the heck is the picture about.  While developing a project, I often find myself boring, so I stop and turn to making web graphics, this is the reason why there is an Animated/Static Gif section.  The time it takes for me to make an animated Gif is some where between 15 to 180 minutes, gee, what a specific answer, eh!

3.  What's the deal with copyright and asking permission from the original author?

    The deal is this, a picture created by some artist is nothing less comparing to a TV made by some manufacturer .  If you think taking a TV off the shelf without paying is illegal then you should think the same when using somebody else's picture without his/her knowledge, it is only fair.  Now, I do not ask you to pay me for your personal/non-profit use of my pictures, however, the least courtesy you can do is to inform me and/or put a link to my website, fair enough?!  If you are only using those 3D images on your computer (such as for wallpapers), then you can forget about asking me, but I would appreciate your comments though.

4.  What about personal requests such as customized logos?

    As I have stated in the policies page, I would only comply, for free of charge, to requests with general ideas, which everyone can enjoy.  Due to the nature of my working time, I can not afford to do free customized/personalized graphics or something with your name on it, sorry!

5.  What can I, as a viewer/user, do to help this website grow and keep it free?

    Besides recommending this website to your friends and others, you can click on my sponsors' links everytime you come here, believe or not, I could get a cent or two out of this.

6. What about the other sections on your website, I don't see much updating?

    Well, there is a limit to how much a person can do, I can not keep up with everything I have started, I apologize for that.  Nonetheless, I do keep updating those sections a little from time to time, and I would like to reserve them for future development.

7. Can you send (email) me your new pics?

    This is not really a preferable way and not very convenient for both parties, it's best that you keep checking back here once or twice every week.

8. You're so rude, why did you not respond to my email and/or instant messages?

This is the problem with AOL users, I have been receiving a lot of emails and instant messages which I could not respond back, mostly because your account (or sub-account) has security blocking features which prevent others from sending emails and/or instant messages to your screenname.   Some contacted me and I tried to contact back but all I got was something like this "This screenname does not accept IM", or "The following problems occurred while processing your request: screenname - This AOL member is currently not accepting e-mail from your account.".  Therefore, you must check your account security features before contacting me.
